Imagine a really hot guy’s voice getting louder and louder, and he’s telling you to not-eat the food.

its a huge mental/psychological battle, but just realise that when ur unecessarily hungry, its all in ur head.

This sounds terrible, but I’ve heard women use the little trick of every time they eat a meal, they sit naked in front of a mirror.

You don’t need to resist food to lose weight, just need to eat less and eat healthier. To eat less, try drinking a large glass of water and a banana or something about 30 minutes before you eat. When you eat, be sure you eat really really slowly and concentrate on the flavors of the food. Take time to chew everything and enjoy it. It gives your brain time to catch up with your stomach so you can realize when you’re full. Also be sure never to eat when you’re doing something else — watching tv, on the pc, whatever. When you eat, that should be the only thing you’re doing.

One thing I always had trouble with is emotional eating. Every time I feel sad I reach for candy or whatever’s handy. You need to recognize those times BEFORE you reach for something bad, and ask yourself what you’re really upset about, and what you could actually do to help/feel better about the situation (because believe me, eating only relieves it temporarily).

And lastly… just try to get in a lot of what you know is good for you. Greens, lean meat, fruits. Don’t skimp breakfast. Grazing throughout the day (instead of having only a few large heavy meals) stimulates your metabolism.

PEPERMINTS ! They work, seriously! Buy really good pepermints with a really strong taste…Or brush your teeth everytime you have a c raving.

cut back and make a healthier eating plan for yourself? yes.

NOT EATING DOES NOT HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT.

    good luck.

  11. LilPhil Says:

To lose weight u should do more exercise and not eat less!!

  12. Samantha Says:

well just think of your motivation and think where that food comes from such as hot dogs comes from dirty pigs and think of distgusting foods and that will make your appetite go south.

  13. yaddle Says:

you slim down to 3 meals a day, no desserts, and if you cannot resist, then you should stop buying junk and bad foods. Toss out all of the stuff that you have that is bad for you.

  14. Bonafide Hustler Says:

    One word: DISCIPLINE.

When you see something you want to eat, convince yourself NOT to eat it. Stay strong. Just don’t give into your urges. It’s tough, I know, I’ve been there too. But after a few weeks on a healthy and balanced diet without sweets, you’ll feel much better about yourself and you’ll be able to stick with it. You just have to resist the temptations, as hard as it sounds, it’s possible. There’s no other secrets to it, it’s just discipline.

  15. PJ Says:

Get baby carrots, celery sticks, etc. and put those in the fridge – eat them when you are hungry. But also eat regular meals with plenty of protein and fiber – that will help you feel full longer. You can eat a whole bag of baby carrots and it’s only about 100 calories. A lot of crunching for the calories you get.

  16. an swers Says:

Eat more protein and fiber when you do eat. This tells the body its full and keeps it that way.

You won’t be tempted to eat until it really is time to eat.

Keep food out of sight. Don’t surround yourself with bad food.

Whenever you’re hungry, drink a glass of water instaed and wait 15 minutes. Then eat if you’re still hungry. (often you are only just thirsty).

just when you see pizza throw dirt on it or something so you wont eat it but ughh when you smell delicious greasy burgers its like trying to break a vampire off blood if you get my metaphor

  18. imreally15 Says:

dont think about it… get busy with something elsee…dont even go near the kitchen…..

  19. ♥♥♥ Says:

try to keep your self busy and dont have any tempting food in your house!

  20. Adam Says:

Hoodia? Caffiene? Those are the only supplements I know of. Otherwise, you will have to use self control, which can be hard. The other option is substituting what you are craving for something with a lower calorie count. When you want to eat a dessert, eat fruit instead. When you want a steak, eat grilled chicken instead. When you want to eat ice cream, eat frozen yogurt or a yogurt instead. Instead of eating salad with dressing, try using cottage cheese. Ect. Ect.

  21. Liv Says:

y don’t u exercise or you can lock yourself in a room with a treadmill and a big bowl of fruit

  22. unfab Says:

smack urself every time ur about to eat junk

  23. tahitantreat08 Says:

When you feel hungry or want food, chug glasses of water until you feel a) full or b) sick. Trust me, it works. If you drink a lot of water until your stomach is full, you won’t want food.

  24. Jen Says:

Eat less, more frequently. Eat four to six small meals a day, with breakfast being your largest and dinner being your smallest. Eat the majority of your calories early in the day. Avoid sodas and junk foods. With eating four to six small meals a day, I doubt you’ll want extra food!

  25. l2onaldinho1010 Says:

You need to eat healthy, drink water and get exercise, being active helps your metabolism and keeps your body in a better shape, and you, in a better mood. Get out there and have some fun, doing something with friends is always the best. Have someone there for you to “watch” you, they can remind you and help keep you on the right track, good luck.

  26. 95 Says:

try drinking lots of water to feel full, also chew gum ,it can help

  27. Ross T Says:

You have to do something else to take your mind off the hunger. You look sexy in your photo.

  28. Sophie Says:

    SAME problem
get sum gum it helps me SO much i really just have the munchies and its really hard for me to stop eating when ive started. when friends are over or when i go to a friends house i am REALLY shy. i NEVER ask for a snack when im at friends houses so i dont eat near as much. when friends are over i dont eat because i feel embarresed that im eating so much. surround yourself with friends!

  29. Savannah Says:

Just keep a picture of someone who is really skinny and when you are tempted to eat take the picture out and say in your head I will not eat this. Don’t stop eating your regular meals though just no snacks.
